The Pure Distilling Premium Wash Pack is a comprehensive, all-in-one kit designed to produce high-quality, 20% ABV spirit washes, often resulting in around 4.5L of 93% ABV spirit when used with a reflux condenser. It includes premium 8kg turbo yeast, liquid carbon, and Crystal Clear clarifier.
Key Components & Benefits:
Premium 8kg Turbo Yeast:Â Optimized for 8kg sugar or 9kg dextrose, ensuring rapid and efficient fermentation.
- Liquid Carbon:Â Added during fermentation to absorb impurities, resulting in a smoother, cleaner taste.
- Crystal Clear Clarifier (Parts A & B):Â Removes yeast cells, degasses the wash, and reduces off-flavors, significantly improving final quality.
Usage Instructions:
- Prepare Water/Sugar: Dissolve 8kg of sugar (or 9kg dextrose) in 21 liters of 30°C water in a sanitized 30L fermenter.
- Add Ingredients:Â Stir in the Premium Spirit Yeast and the Spirit Enhancer (liquid carbon). The wash will turn black.
- Ferment: Allow to ferment at ~25°C.
- Clear: Once fermentation is complete, use the Crystal Clear finings.
