Sediment Reducer

A sediment reducer is a mechanical piece of equipment that reduces the amount of sediment picked up during the transfer process.

The sediment reducer plugs into the tap on the inside of the fermenter with the slit pointing up. When the tap is used the sediment reducer draws liquid from above the sediment, resulting in the transfer of clearer liquid.
