Sourced from a small brewpub in Cologne, Germany, this strain is fitting for German ales such as kölsch and altbier.
Known for accentuating hop flavor and bitterness while creating crisp, clean lager like characters, it performs exceptionally well at temperatures ranging from 18-20°C and does not ferment well below 17°C after peak fermentation.
Typically has low flocculation characteristics after the first generation.
